FAQ

Q) Is there anything I should bring along on our charter?

A) Everything you will need for a great fishing trip will be provided for you including your fishing licenses for the day. You may want to bring along something to drink or snack on. We have a good sized cooler on the boat to store your food and drinks. You may also want to bring a camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat. You are also welcome to bring along your favorite rod and reel combo and tackle, but please let us know in advance to ensure there is enough room on the boat.

Q) Can we keep what we catch?

A) Yes, every species of fish has a different size limit and bag limit. As long as it is legal to keep you are more than welcome to bring it back to the dock where we will filet and clean it for you to take home.

Q) Are kids welcome on the Boat?

A) We welcome kids of any age. There is nothing better than seeing a kid catch their first big fish! Please advise us on the age of kids in your group at booking as ALL kids under 12 must wear a youth size life jacket at all times.

Q) How many anglers can you take out at one time?

A) We can accommodate up to six anglers. If you have more than six in your party just let us know and we can make that happen. If you have a large group or corporate event we can get additional boats to meet your needs.

Q) I've never fished before or have limited fishing experience? Can you still take us out?

A) Of course! We love having anglers of any skill level from novice to professional on the boat. We will tailor the trip to your needs. Call us to book a fishing charter today. We operate our charter boat all year. We look forward to serving you on the waters of Dauphin Island, Mobile bay and Fort Morgan

Q) What time of day do you start your trips?

A) It depends on quite a few different things, including weather, tides, and the time of year. We will usually set up the day you want to fish and then firm up the time and location a few days before the trip. We can always schedule the trip for whatever works best for your group.

Q) What is your cancellation policy?

A) We have a one week cancellation policy. If you need to cancel within one week or less notice, I will make every effort to rebook the day. You will have to forfeit your deposit if we are unable to rebook the day. Cancellations made earlier the than the one week policy will receive a full refund. In the event of inclement weather (such as heavy rain or wind), we will reschedule or give a refund. The captain will make all cancellation decisions at time of trip based on actual conditions. Many times, weather forecast are not accurate of can be off as much as 12 hours in the case of an approaching front.
